I hope I didn't miss anything this time (last time there were some minor
issues and I didn't properly acknowledge Phil work in the proper section)

I'm not sure if I'm in time but I'd submit it within this week if there
aren't other issues.

As I understand it, your cut-off date at IETF is 24th October (http://ietf.org/meetings/cutoff_dates_64.html), so you're well on time.

Cheers,
Silvia.

I don't remember if the theora draft got already submitted or not so I
was targeting the 17th just to be safe, tomorrow I'll update it to be in
line with the new vorbis-rtp.

The changes will be the same I did in the vorbis one ( Merged
Identification and Setup headers in one packet, removing completely the
Comment headers and disallowing them, inline SDP, out-of-band and
in-band configuration transmission... )

Right. The latest theora draft we have is http://plus24.com/xiph/draft-kerr-avt-theora-rtp-00.txt
dated January 31st. Does that count as a new draft, or an updated one?

BTW, I live in Vancouver, and could presumedly appear in person if
that's helpful in submitting or discussing the draft, but I'm not
really interested in paying $500 for the privilege. Is there another
way I can participate, or are we going with remote submission. (Or is
someone coming in person?)

Since what will be submitted now is -01.txt, it will be an updated one. :)

If it gets discussed in the meeting, somebody has to attend. This is also the main way to progress it and get feedback. Is it on the Agenda? If not, we need to email the AVT chair that it should be on the agenda and who will be presenting.

Alternatively, you can try and get it progressed through the mailing lists. That can work, too. Phil already got them into AVT (Audio-Visual Transport Group), so they will be I-Ds (Internet-Drafts) that they "own" and are interested in progressing. But then, the cut-off dates are irrelevant and you only have to send the I-Ds to the mailing list.

Cheers,
Silvia.

I've contacted the AVT chairs. We'll try to either discuss it at the
meeting, or informally while the WG is in town. Is anyone else planning
to attend?

They also suggested we bring up the changes on the avt list asap. I'll
do so once we have a draft with the tag decoder setup payload changes,
unless you'd like to, Luca?

I'd like to have the latest draft reviewed here a bit here before
committing, I changed a lot and I'm not sure it is complete and
understandable.

Since I don't have experience about submitting draft to the rfceditor
and we don't have much time, I'll be relieved if someone else with more
experience wants to submit it =)

I'm pushing some changes in the svn right now.

The vorbis-rtp reference implementation will be in the svn too. (don't
expect the ogg dumper work since I completed it today and is quite buggy)

Submission is all via email. It also may involve some corrections to your document, so you may as well send it now and get their input.
Check out: http://www.ietf.org/ietf/1id-guidelines.html .

Cheers,
Silvia.
